Dadfest = Sweet!
Hey all, Typically I drive home feeling pretty good about how things went almost every weekend. However, on weekend’s like Dadfest I find even greater energy pulling away after having taken the risk to try something “out of the box.” Dadfest is one of those great community building weekends where car owners, dads and attenders all get a chance to come together and hang out. Life in the Ethnoburbs
This week I heard a term that was new to me: ethnoburb. It describes the choice new immigrants are making to settle in metropolitan outer areas shortly after they arrive in the United States. Dadfest Weekend!
Hey everyone, This is one of those weekends that should be a memorable one. Cool cars, motocycles, inflatable games for the kids and free hot dogs for the dads. After taking my usual Sunday afternoon nap after church, we decided to go…
Pray for Norway
You never know what you might miss when you skip a worship service at Eagle Brook. Those at Spring Lake Park this past weekend noticed my absence—Jolene and I were celebrating our 32nd wedding anniversary (thanks Tyler for your exceptional leadership in my place). Attendees also experienced Eagle Brook’s global ministry as 31 people from one of our partner churches in Norway dropped in to visit, learn and serve. Jolene…
