Wednesday Buzz

posted January 28, 2008 by Steve Whicker | |

It’s Wednesday, four pm on the Spring Lake Park campus. Eagle Brook volunteers and staff stroll down hallways connecting with assigned teams making final preparations for the crowd that’s coming.

The sun has set. Cars, SUV’s and mini-vans flood the parking lot.  A mellow buzz elevates to a mild rumble. Families pour into the lobby. Kid’s rush to AWANA club, faces glowing with smiles, some with toothless grins. Teens hang outside the worship center laughing, sipping drinks, moving from one circle of friends to another as they wait for the doors to open. Parents rush to volunteer stations or gather with others in a nearby classroom to pray. The Jeremy Sanoski Band kicks off and the place begins to rock. It’s Wednesday night at SLP! Check out the pictures below.
