Practical Atheist — I Believe in God, But Don’t Know Him

The weekend of July 24/25, Pastor Jason Anderson concluded the Practical Atheist series with “I Believe in God, But Don’t Know Him.”

There are three places we can be in our faith:

1. I believe in him, but I don’t know him.
Believing is not enough. James 2:19 — “You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.”

2. I know him, but not very well.

3. Real and personal.
This is where God wants us to be (Psalm 63:1-3). Know/Trust/Obey. When you know Him and trust Him, obedience is the natural outflow of your life.

“Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him” John 14:21.
