Pray for Norway

Spring Lake Park

You never know what you might miss when you skip a worship service at Eagle Brook. Those at Spring Lake Park this past weekend noticed my absence—Jolene and I were celebrating our 32nd wedding anniversary (thanks Tyler for your exceptional leadership in my place). Attendees also experienced Eagle Brook’s global ministry as 31 people from one of our partner churches in Norway dropped in to visit, learn and serve.

Jolene and I attended the Norwegian worship team concert at our White Bear Lake campus on Sunday evening. We were impressed with the authenticity, humility and passion in this group of young people who are reaching their city and nation for Christ.

The concert ended with a song titled Pray for Norway. The worship team sang the song in English and then in Norwegian. God moved in a powerful way as the audience joined with those on the platform to sing the song again in English. Clearly, our hearts united in prayer as we lifted our voices together.

Norway is one of six countries where Eagle Brook is making a global impact. The other nations are Mozambique, Ethiopia, Ukraine, Brazil and Mexico.
