Luke 8:26-56

Scripture: Return home and tell how much God has done for you. Luke 8:39

Application: Luke tells us that after casting out a legion of demons from a possessed man, Jesus tells the man to return home and tell people what God had done. What an unbelievable miracle! This man had been tormented for a long time and yet Jesus had the power to restore him. Jesus does miracles in our lives all the time. He is so good to us and nothing is too difficult for Him. This verse reminds us to share with others the good news of Jesus and what he has done for us. What good news can I share this week?

Prayer: Almighty God and Savior, You are so good to me and yet sometimes I keep this to myself. Give me the courage to share with others what you have done for me. Help me tell of Your glory and shine your light into this dark world. Amen.

During the “Text: Get the Message” series, we began reading through the book of Luke together as a church. This is the final post in a series of journal entries from EBC campus pastors and worship pastors. For more information on The SAP method, click here.
