Some Last Minute Details

Here’s a note to my faithful WBLer’s who are planning to join us this weekend and beyond.

Here’s a couple details that might be helpful as you enter into this weekend:

  1. Burrito time = 5:05 – or right after the new 4:05 lets out.  We are planning to have 2 lines outside and one line inside.  The two lines outside will be for people paying with cash and check.  The inside line will be for those with credit card.  We’ll have burritos and hotdogs at both spots, but if you can bring cash or check, that might help you get through the line.

  2. Brunch time = 10:05 Sun – or right after the new 9:05 lets out.  We’re hoping to run this the same as the burritos.  2 lines for cash and check outside, 1 line inside for those using credit card.

  3. For both burrito and brunch time, there will be some games and an inflatable game outside as well as some recorded music on the sound system.  Inside we will have Rockband in the gym and some tables for people to sit at. If weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll probably lose a lot of our games and move everything into the gym.

  4. As was mentioned this last weekend, we will have some fun things happening with our technology (we hope) before the service begins.  This is scheduled to happen at least 15 minutes before the service begins.  It will include some fun memories of the last year that you might want to see.  Try to get to your seats a bit early.

  5. Volunteers.  Finally, we could use some volunteers to help us handle the 4th service time as well as the increase in food service.  I know the kids area has it’s biggest need at the 4:00 service and the cafe is in great need of volunteers throughout the month if we want to increase our food options.  First impressions (greeter/ushers) is also showing some need for the new year and service as well.  If you can help, please call the church office (651-429-9227) and ask for Suzy Kirby or Michelle Domning.

As usual, we’ll learn as we go.  Thanks for all of you that are so committed to helping, praying and inviting!
