T Minus 10 Days

In 10 days we will declare the ministry year re-started.  Here’s 5 reasons why you won’t want to miss out on the weekend of Sept 6 and 7.

  5. Come see if the new simulcast technology actually works.  (starting on this weekend we will have live simulcast from our Lino location).  BTW, I do sit anxiously in my chair waiting for the day when the technology will fail us and I’ll actually have to figure out what to say…in case you’re wondering.

  5. Come early to see a new way to communicate live from campus to campus.

  3. The environment will be great.  We’ll have a bouncy thing for the kids, some music playing, Rockband and some lawn games to play.  It should be a great time and a great opportunity to meet some others.

  2. New service times.  Remember 4:05, 6:05, 9:05, 11:05.  We’re hoping the that 4:05 will create a new interest for people who usually drive by our campus in order to get to the Lino 4:00 service and we’re also hoping it will attract people who like to come to church and hang with friends afterward.

  1. CHIPPPPOTTTLEEEE.  Yup – we’re ordering 200 burritos for us all to enjoy.  We’ll split them in 2 so it actually is more like a normal sized meal.  But…check this out…you’ll get a 1/2 burrito, chips and a pop for  $6 (like you’d pay in the store)?  no!  $5?  NO!  $4?  NO….$3!  You heard it – 1/2 burrito, chips and a pop for $3.  We’ll also have some hot dogs for the kids if they’d prefer that.

Anyway – It should be a great time.  Bring your friends, check out Saturday night if you can and let’s see what is in store for our little site come September!
