The Awakened Church

I’ve heard so many people talk about how the Awaken series is helping them lock into a time with God and be exposed to his life-changing teachings.  What a great thing!  It’s fun to hear when this is happening to us as individuals but I also look forward to what it will do to us as a church.  What happens when 10,000 people in one area of the world all focus on God’s word, pray, practice solitude (this weekends message), serve and surround themselves with Christ-following people?  What does that look like?  It’s really quite limitless.  If you have stories to share.  Please do so.  Write them as a comment here, or email me.  I’d love to hear how God is impacting you – whether as an individual or how it’s impacting our community.

BTW – this weekend is a communion weekend.  Sometimes it’s helpful to know that we get to spend some time at the Lord’s table remembering and re-awakening ourselves.
