What Summer Slowdown?
It’s a big week, Eagle Brookers, with a lot coming up.
For starters, as Blaine Campus Pastor Matt Anderson mentioned yesterday, this Saturday is the Blaine Open House! On July 31 from 1-4 pm, get a sneak peek at the new campus. There will be staff and volunteers on hand to answer questions and give tours.
Also on Saturday, we start a new series titled Daniel: Unshaken Faith.
Wouldn’t it be great to have a faith that could be described as “unshaken”? That no matter who you were around, what you were pressured to do, how much temptation you faced, you didn’t compromise? In this new series on the book of Daniel, we’re going to look at how Daniel maintained an unshaken faith while living in a hostile environment and how we can do the same.
Week 1 starts with “Unshaken faith … in a hostile environment.”
Then on Sunday, Aug. 1, we’re holding our final outdoor baptism of the summer at Lake Johanna. You can register online or at the Box Office.
And of course next week is The Global Leadership Summit! This year we’re hosting The Summit, broadcast live from Willow Creek Community Church in Chicago, at two EBC campuses: Lino Lakes and White Bear Lake.
There is still time to register online, but only for a few more days. Online registration closes on Aug. 3. If you’re a regular Eagle Brooker, e-mail penny.isaac-nelson@eaglebrookchurch.com for the attender-only code.
