When Life’s Not Working: Try Things You Can’t Do

On March 26/27, Senior Pastor Bob Merritt concluded the series based on his new book When Life’s Not Working with part two: “Try Things You Can’t Do.”

When life’s not working, there’s usually a pattern of relational failure, a lack of purpose, and a desire to escape your reality. But nobody is beyond hope. You can get on a better path, and it begins by trying things you can’t do.

There are three huge payoffs when you try things you can’t do:

1. You’ll experience God’s power.

What river might you need to step into to experience God’s power? Have you sensed God asking you do to something you can’t do?

2. You’ll be able to face bigger challenges.

You can’t. God can.

3. It’ll inspire others to try things they can’t do.

“God did this so that all the peoples of the earth might know that the hand of the Lord is powerful,” Joshua 4:24.
